Yes the OCEAN kicks ass and I love my device, and NO i would not trade it for any phone out there!
But one cant help but ask themselves. "What is HELIO gonna come up with next???
Give Ideas on what you think is next... and maybe requests on what you think Helio should come up with next.
-Windows integration maybe.
-touch screen?
-YOU TELL ME!

I heard that the ocean was in the planning from helios inception. Sooooo most likely their next phone won't be for awhile and will probably be a new ocean, ala sidekick 1, 2, 3.

They need to just update the Ocean....with a few minor tweaks they wouldn't have to come out with a new phone very soon.

I thought the purpose of Helio was to bring advanced devices already being used in Korea to the States. Or is that not the case any longer?

It looks interesting but I wouldn't want it to be all white like that. and the buttons looked recessed... that might make it hard to type. I wonder if the new ocean would come with some type of touch screen system?

I may be the lone voice, but I don't like it.  I don't understand the desire for a touch screen either. To me that's one of the major downfalls of the iPhone - why would someone want to get their fingerprints all over it!? I like my qwerty slide and soft key navigation thank you.  Leaves the screen nice and pretty. |

Look what i found after deep sea browsing. EWWWWWwwwwwwwwww.... just update my Ocean and im good to go... i hope they dont do Ocean 1,2,3 ala sidekick... that would suck... and if they do they should have a cheaper program to trade in ur Ocean for the new ones... maybe pay a difference or pay sumthin to upgrade... *Besides the upgrade plan for yearly members* |
